Start from the licence
In Ontario, family legal services are provided by lawyers licensed by the Law Society of Ontario. Every name on your shortlist should appear in the Law Society's public directory in good standing — it takes thirty seconds to check and filters out the noise that a search for nearby help returns.
Then compare what actually differs
- Focus: how much of the practice is family law
- Approach: settlement-first, court-ready — in that order
- Access: how consultations run, how fast messages are returned, evening availability
- Language: our office serves families in English, Urdu, Punjabi, Hindi and Polish
- Fees: consultation terms and hourly rate in writing before you commit
Nearby help, on your schedule
From 25 Watline Avenue in central Mississauga we serve families across Peel, Halton and the wider GTA — in person until 7:00 PM weekdays, or by Google Meet from anywhere. The first 15 minutes with the lawyer are free, then $199 per half-hour, confirmed with you before billed time begins.
The content of this website is legal information about Ontario and Canadian law, not legal advice. Reading it, or contacting us through it, does not create a lawyer-client relationship — that begins only after we confirm in writing that the firm is acting for you.
