Know who is allowed to represent you
Only certain people can act as your paid representative before IRCC: lawyers and paralegals licensed by a Canadian law society, and licensed immigration consultants. Verify credentials before anything else — unlicensed "agents" remain a real problem in the GTA, and a botched application follows you through every future filing.
What good representation includes
- An honest eligibility assessment before you pay for an application — including being told when you should not apply yet
- A documented evidence plan: what IRCC needs to see, and how you will prove it
- Forms prepared and reviewed by the office, filed as your authorized representative
- Every IRCC letter monitored and answered on time — procedural fairness deadlines are short
- Copies of everything filed, and plain-language updates as the file moves
Local office, national reach
Immigration is federal, so our Mississauga office represents applicants across Canada and abroad. GTA clients get the best of both: in-person meetings at 25 Watline Avenue in English, Urdu, Punjabi, Hindi or Polish, and electronic filing wherever you are. The first 15 minutes of a consultation are free — and if your case is weak, we tell you at that meeting, not after a retainer.
The content of this website is legal information about Ontario and Canadian law, not legal advice. Reading it, or contacting us through it, does not create a lawyer-client relationship — that begins only after we confirm in writing that the firm is acting for you.
