About the program previously announced here
This page originally announced a 2025 community initiative for single parents in the Toronto area. That program has concluded and is no longer offered, and we have kept this page live — at its original address — so that anyone who finds it through an old link or search result gets the current picture rather than a dead end.
How we make advice accessible now
What survived from that initiative is a conviction: the biggest barrier between people and their rights is the fear of an unknown bill. Our answer is structural, not promotional, and it applies to every client, every matter, every day:
- The first 15 minutes of every consultation are free — enough to learn where you stand and what your options cost
- Time after that is $199 per half-hour (CAD), confirmed with you before billed time begins
- Defined work — separation agreements, uncontested divorces, wills, closings, applications — is quoted flat, in writing
- Consultations run evenings to 7:00 PM and by Google Meet, in English, Urdu, Punjabi, Hindi and Polish
For single parents specifically
Family law is where cost anxiety bites hardest, and it is the heart of our practice. Sabeeya Akram — a parent herself — leads those files with a settlement-first approach designed to keep conflict, and cost, proportionate to what your family actually needs resolved: parenting arrangements, child support, spousal support, and agreements that hold.
If an old link brought you here looking for help, the help looks like this: book the free first 15 minutes, bring your questions, and leave knowing your position and the honest price of every next step.
The content of this website is legal information about Ontario and Canadian law, not legal advice. Reading it, or contacting us through it, does not create a lawyer-client relationship — that begins only after we confirm in writing that the firm is acting for you.
