The advice is the same in both rooms. The first 15 minutes are free in both. The rate after that is $199 per half-hour in both. Choose the format that gets you in front of a lawyer sooner.

Ontario family, immigration and most civil procedure already run electronically. Distance is no longer a reason to delay advice.

Can I start on video and come in later to sign?+

Yes — that is the usual pattern. Advice by Google Meet, signatures and notarization at the office.

Is video less confidential?+

No. Solicitor-client privilege applies to the consultation either way. Join from a private room.
