The Liberal government announced Canada’s economy needs large-scale immigration to keep the economy stable. The World Pandemic Covid-19 set back the immigration agenda and now the government is adamant to bring in 401, 000 new permanent residents in 2021, 411,000 in 2022 and 421,000 in 2023.

Immigration Minister Marco Mendicino stated that brining in the new immigration population would help stabilize the Canadian economic market and economy at a whole.
