Olivia Listwan

Olivia Listwan is an intern and assistant at Ayoun & Sabeeya LLP. She holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Political Science with a Specialization in Public Policy and a Minor in Criminology from Wilfrid Laurier University (2025). During her time at Laurier, Ms. Listwan was an active member of the Association of Political Science Students, where she attended and contributed to key discussions such as the Kosovo-Serbia Transitional Justice Dialogue and Rebuilding Diaspora Relations for Change, Legal and Political Challenges Associated with Post-Secondary Education in Authoritarian Settings, and the International Migration Research Centre (IMRC) General Meeting and Social.

An aspiring lawyer, Ms. Listwan is currently pursuing hands-on legal experience at Ayoun & Sabeeya LLP, where she has worked since the summer of 2024. Under the guidance of experienced counsel, she assists with a variety of legal matters, gaining valuable insight into legal practice and case management. Simultaneously, she is preparing to write the LSAT and is committed to building the foundational skills required for a successful legal career.

Ms. Listwan has a particular interest in immigration law, having pursued academic seminars in Contested Citizenship, where she explored the evolving definitions of citizenship and its deep personal and political meaning across different contexts. She brings to her work a global perspective informed by her love of travel and passion for understanding diverse cultures and values.

Outside of her professional and academic pursuits, Ms. Listwan is known for her enthusiastic and collaborative spirit. She values the opportunity to support clients and colleagues alike and is dedicated to contributing meaningfully to her community through both legal advocacy and civic engagement.
